Conservative Social Issues: Traversing the Waters of “PC”

In our highly sensitive politically correct society, the taboos mount daily, and what we can say and can’t say could fill volumes. It takes a completely wise and intricate way of thinking to traverse these waters without pulling an embarrassing and possible hurtful verbal error. Take the “N” word for example. This is a word that absolutely no white person should say or even think. However, a black person can say this same word to another black and it means friendly or even loving thoughts. Now blacks call whites “crackers”. This is a put down and can be hurtful to the white person. So, it’s not okay for a white to put down a black, but a black can put down a white and it’s acceptable. This is justified by some mumbo-jumbo that the dominant race cannot be insulted because of the mere fact that they are dominant. “PC” is indeed complicated.

So why is “PC” a conservative social issue and not a liberal social issue, too? Because the whole history of political correctness, from its inception in the 1920s until now, has been a liberal movement and the folks who are degraded and hurt by it are invariably conservative.

Marxists in Germany after World War I started the movement to help Communism and Socialism gain ground over Western Civilization, with the aim of destroying the Democratic Freedoms of Speech and Choice. It was then, and still is today, “a dangerous form of censorship and oppression, imposed upon the citizenry with the ultimate goal of manipulating, brainwashing, and destroying our society.”*

In the news recently is a story of a well-known hockey player, Sean, who had the unmitigated gall to call his ex-girlfriend “a sloppy second.” For this he has been suspended from his team indefinitely. The media is having a cow over how absolutely terrible this politically incorrect statement is and are screaming for Sean’s blood. Yet, for the last eight years, liberals have shrieked from the rooftops calling our president worse than Hitler, a ruthless terrorist, on and on. These self-proclaimed-judges-and-juries are glorified by the liberal press, who are actually quite guilty themselves of destroying the president.

Moral: It’s acceptable to call a Republican President the scum of the earth, but heaven help a male who makes an uncomplimentary but benign comment about a woman. Freedom of Speech? Not for poor Sean! PC is definitely a Conservative Social Issue that we conservatives must address.
